Cinnamon Baked Apples

cinnamon baked apples

This is about as easy and delicious as dessert gets, in my book. Cinnamon baked apples are a crowd pleaser in our family and we especially LOVE the crispy crumble topping. Stop what you’re doing and try it now – it’s just that good! Vanilla bean ice cream is optional but in my opinion there’s no better combo. Enjoy!

What You'll Need:

+ 3 Honeycrisp Apples

+ 1 Tp. Cinnamon

+ 1 Tsp. Brown Sugar

+ Drizzle of Honey

+ Vanilla Bean (optional but if you have it it adds so much flavor)

+ Drizzle of Lemon

Crumble Topping

+ 1 Stick of Butter Melted

+ 3/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour

+ 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

+ 1/2 Cup Rolled Oats

+ 1/2 Tsp. Salt

+ 1 Tsp. Cinnamon

Steps:

1. Core apples and place in baking dish with a splash of water.

2. Top with lemon, cinnamon, brown sugar, and honey.

3. In a large mixing bowl combine your oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and melted butter. Once combined add into the centers of the apples.

4. Bake at 400 degrees for 50-60 minutes until tender and golden brown. If you don’t like them too crispy on the outside place a layer of foil over the dish for the last 15-20 minutes of baking.

5. Serve with ice cream or Greek yogurt and top with caramel sauce.
