Amalfi was beautiful and so much fun. If you’re taking a day trip, we recommend getting there early to enjoy the town before the crowds roll in during the middle of the day. We loved it most in the morning and at night because it was less crowded. We opted to stay in Ravello because it was a bit more romantic and relaxing. Whatever you do, don’t leave Amlafi without trying all things lemon and the delicious seafood. Anyway, here are are recommendations if you’re planning a trip to Amalfi.

It was beautiful, relaxing, and so much fun! It really has it all – stunning views, designer fashion, LOTS of shopping, adventure, beach clubs, scenic views; you name it. We LOVED Cinque Terre and if you can fit it into your travel plans, we’d highly recommend it! 2 days or more would be ideal but if you can only swing a day-trip based on timing, DO IT and utilize the boat tour to maximize what you’re able to efficiently see. It’s such a unique place and provided a totally different aspect to the trip. It’s lush, scenic, and relaxed. We’re also huge pesto fans so it was really cool to explore the region it originated in!
