Spiced Apple Crumble

I mean, how delicious does this look!? When it comes to dessert, I’m all about quick and easy recipes that don’t skimp on flavor and this has it all! This is one of my favorite apple recipes because it’s warm, sweet yet tart, delicious, and perfect to share with friends and family during the holidays. What You'll Need:

+ 6-8 @pinkladyamerica apples

+ 1 ½ tbsp. flour

+ ¼ cup granulated sugar

+ ¼ cup brown sugar

+ Juice of ½ lemon

+ 2 tsp. cinnamon

+ Pinch freshly grated nutmeg

+ Paste of ½ vanilla bean

Crumble:

+ 1 cup flour

+ ¾ cup oats

+ 1 cup brown sugar

+ 1 stick butter, melted

+ ½ tsp. cinnamon

+ ½ tsp. salt

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 375 and and grease a baking dish (approximately 9”x12”).

2. Peel apples and slice into ¼” pieces.

3. Place apples into large mixing bowl. Add sugar, brown sugar, flour, spices, vanilla bean paste and lemon juice. Toss until thoroughly coated and add to prepared baking dish.

4. In a separate mixing bowl combine brown sugar, oats, flour, spices, salt and melted butter. Mix until crumbles form and pour onto the apple filling.

5. Bake for approximately 50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apple filling is tender. Enjoy!
