Easy Pumpkin Spice French Toast Bake

If you love french toast and fall flavors, this Easy Pumpkin Spice French Toast Bake is a must-try! I’m usually more of a savory breakfast person but this is the perfect balance of sweetness. It’s simple and so delicious! I tested this recipe on my family and it was an instant hit.

What You'll Need:

+ 1 loaf sourdough bread

+ 6 eggs

+ 1 1/2 cup milk

+ 3/4 cup heavy cream

+ 1/4 cup maple syrup

+ 1/2 cup brown sugar

+ 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

+ 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

+ 1 tsp. cinnamon

+ 1/2 tsp. cardamom

+ 1/2 tsp. salt

+ Zest of 1 orange

Crumble topping:
+ 1/2 cup flour

+ 1/2 cup brown sugar

+ 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

+ 5 tbsp. melted butter


1. Preheat oven to 375 and grease baking dish (I’m using 9”x13”)

2. Cut bread into approximately 1” pieces.

3. Add eggs, sugar, maple syrup, milk, heavy cream, vanilla, spices and zest to a bowl. Whisk to combine.

4. Add bread cubes into mixture. Toss and make sure all pieces are coated.

5. In a separate bowl combine crumble ingredients and mix. Pour bread mixture into baking dish and top with crumble. Bake for approximately 55 minutes. Top with powdered sugar and more maple syrup, of course. Enjoy!
