Andrew and I got married in July 2018 at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA. It was such a beautiful day and flew by SO quickly! I still can’t get over how much prep and planning goes into the big day. I’m so happy that weddings have resumed after the most challenging year; I can’t even imagine how difficult that must have been. One of the questions I see frequently is what I would recommend putting on a wedding registry. There are definitely some things I would have done differently and wanted to share all of my tips for my wedding registry must-haves!
We registered through Blueprint (similar to Zola) which allowed us to choose from a variety of different retailers. It also gives you the option to redeem the cash value of your items if you happen to change your mind on anything, which was great. Here are my wedding registry must-haves! If you’re considering a single store to register at, I think that Crate & Barrel, Target, Amazon and Williams Sonoma are some great options as well.
These are some of the items I recommend including on yours that I have found helpful!
KITCHEN ITEMS
Cuisinart Food Processor – One of our most used kitchen items that is a MUST for saving time.
Made In Stainless Steel 6-Piece Set – The top cookware set on the market that I always use.
Non-stick Pan – I LOVE my Made In non-stick pan, it’s great for everyday use. Highly recommend this!
Non-stick Griddle – Great for smash burgers, pancakes, shrimp, fajitas, etc. Can’t wait to use mine and just bought one for my cousin who is newly married!
Toaster Oven Air Fryer – We LOVE this dual toaster oven and airfryer from Cuisinart! You can use it to air fry, bake, broil, roast, toast, dehydrate, make pizzas, and so much more!
Kitchen Knife Set – We have this Hedley & Bennett set one and love it. We also use these Made In knives, as well as these from Shun. All wonderful options!
Espresso Machine – Although we still have the two Nespresso machines, we don’t use them as much anymore because we purchased this amazing espresso machine – the Breville Barista Touch Impress.
Nespresso Machine – I highly recommend one of these if you and your significant other love coffee like we do. We used to have the Lattissima One which is better for espresso drinks and the Vertuo Next which is great for larger coffees.
- Lattissima One (Nespresso Original Collection)
- Vertuo Next (Nespresso Vertuo Collection with Aeroccino)
- Vertuo Next with Frother (Nespresso Vertuo Collection)
Electric Tea Kettle – This is one that we registered for years ago that has really come in handy. I also love this super chic option that we’ve since purchased in a different color.
Dutch Oven – This is hands down one of my most used items in the kitchen – it does it ALL. My mom got it for me years ago and my specific model is unfortunately discontinued but here are a couple very similar options to Le Creuset on Made In and Amazon (Cuisinart).
Glassware – Here are some of my recommendations based on what we own and love. This is my updated collection! If you LOVE wine and want something super fancy, Andrew recommends THIS for a really special glass!
Dishware – Most of our dishes are from Crate & Barrel as well. The ones we have purchased most recently are from the What’s Gaby Cooking collection! If I was getting married this year, I’d definitely put them on my registry!
Silverware – We love this brushed gold set.
Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer – The ultimate wedding registry item! I’ve heard they’re amazing and finally ordered one.
Cast Iron Skillet – Always great to have one of these. Here is one option from Target and another from Crate and Barrel.
Cutting Board – I have a Sonder LA cutting board and love it! I’ve been using it for about 2 years now.
Pastry Slab – I’ve used this a ton, both as a pastry slab and cheese board. I love that it also doubles as a decor piece – so pretty!
Rolling Pin – We registered for this to go along with the pastry slab and love it.
Butter Keeper – A cute butter keeper because, why not?
Toaster – We have an old school Cuisinart from Target; here is a more modern option. Smeg also has some very cute ones.
Blender – We love this blender and how versatile it is – a great investment if you guys love to cook (or make a lot of smoothies)!
HOME ITEMS
Barefoot Dreams Blanket – We didn’t register for this but I wish we had. It’s amazing and, in my opinion, worth the money. Andrew got it for me for Christmas (on sale) and I use it every night – seriously feels like a cloud!
Bedding – This is always great to include but if you can’t find the exact bedding you want on your registry, I suggest getting this on your own. Brooklinen is my favorite brand that I’ve tried thus far. We have their Heathered Cashmere sheets and they’re sooooo soft and cozy. Casaluna at Target is also a great option and I love their oversized pillows. West Elm has some nice options as well.
Vacuum – I think a quality vacuum is a really practical item that I wish we had registered for! This one is a major splurge but has amazing reviews and is supposed to be INCREDIBLE. We’ve been eyeing it. This is the one we currently have.
Honeymoon Fund! This was very important to us so we put it as an option on our registry. Guests were able to purchase specific activities which was really nice and personal. I highly recommend doing this also.
Andrew’s two cents on wedding registry must-haves is to include a couple items that are a bit pricier that you wouldn’t normally buy for yourself but that you’ve always wanted. For him, a wine fridge was a wedding registry must-have haha. Our exact model is currently out of stock but here is the most similar option that we could find.
