This Vanilla Spice Eggnog Bread Pudding is the perfect holiday dessert and great for feeding a crowd. I’m a big eggnog lover and vanilla spice eggnog is my favorite! Adding it to my recipe results in a bread pudding that’s so rich, creamy, delicious, and full of holiday flavor! Plus, it also doubles as the perfect addition to a morning coffee! How To Make My Vanilla Spice Eggnog Bread Pudding

Ingredients – Bread Pudding

  • 1 loaf French Bread (6-8 cups), torn or cubed
  • 3 cups Vanilla Spice Eggnog
  • ½ cup Dried Cranberries
  • ½ stick Unsalted Butter, melted
  • ½ cup White Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. Nutmeg
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 3 Eggs, beaten

Ingredients – For The Sauce

  • ½ cup Vanilla Spice Eggnog
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 4 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Rum (optional)

Step-By-Step Recipe Method

  1. Place the bread into a baking dish and sprinkle with cranberries.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine eggnog, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and a pinch of salt. Whisk until well it is combined.
  3. Pour mixture over the bread and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter overtop and bake for approximately 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium-low heat, add eggnog, butter, and sugar. Once warmed and all ingredients are well combined, add rum and cook for 1 to 2 more minutes. Pour over the bread pudding and enjoy your vanilla spice eggnog bread pudding!
