How To Make My Vanilla Spice Eggnog Bread Pudding

Ingredients – Bread Pudding
- 1 loaf French Bread (6-8 cups), torn or cubed
- 3 cups Vanilla Spice Eggnog
- ½ cup Dried Cranberries
- ½ stick Unsalted Butter, melted
- ½ cup White Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- ½ tsp. Nutmeg
- Pinch of Salt
- 3 Eggs, beaten
Ingredients – For The Sauce
- ½ cup Vanilla Spice Eggnog
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- 4 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
- 2 tbsp. Rum (optional)
Step-By-Step Recipe Method
- Place the bread into a baking dish and sprinkle with cranberries.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine eggnog, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and a pinch of salt. Whisk until well it is combined.
- Pour mixture over the bread and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Drizzle the melted butter overtop and bake for approximately 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium-low heat, add eggnog, butter, and sugar. Once warmed and all ingredients are well combined, add rum and cook for 1 to 2 more minutes. Pour over the bread pudding and enjoy your vanilla spice eggnog bread pudding!
