Brown Butter Mizithra Cheese Pasta

This Brown Butter Mizithra Cheese Pasta has always been one of my favorites. With how flavorful it is, it’s hard to believe that it only requires a handful of ingredients. My mom’s bestie (Bug) shared this delicious recipe with me. Hope you guys try it and love it as much as we do!

What You'll Need:

+ 1 Stick Salted Butter

+ 3/4 Box of Spaghetti

+ Mizithra Cheese Finely Grated

+ Parsley and Fresh Cracked Pepper for Garnish (optional)


1. Cook pasta al dente and brown the butter in a nonstick pan on low/medium heat.

2. Continuously stir until it is a light brown color (approx 5-7 min) then remove from heat. Be careful not to burn the butter.

3. Once pasta is cooked, strain and transfer it into the nonstick pan with butter.

4. Toss and top with a very generous amount of finely grated Mizithra cheese.

5. Garnish with parsley and black pepper if desired. Don’t use any salt as the cheese is very salty.
