Classic Tomato Basil Bruschetta

When it comes to tasty entertaining appetizers, there’s just nothing like this Classic Tomato Basil Bruschetta! It’s simple, sweet, salty, crunchy, and so delicious. This is the perfect recipe to make on a warm summer day because it’s refreshing and light! I love pairing my Bruschetta with a nice glass (or two!) of wine.

How To Make My Classic Tomato Basil Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf ciabatta, sliced
  • 4 large vine ripe tomatoes, diced
  • Handful basil leaves (about 10), chopped
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Burrata
  • Balsamic vinegar/glaze to top (optional)

Step-By-Step Recipe Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, and oregano, then set aside.
  2. Drizzle bread with extra virgin olive oil and toast on a grill pan until they’re slightly charred.
  3. Rub garlic clove on bread and top with fresh Burrata and mixture. Garnish with flaky sea salt and enjoy!

Optional

We also love drizzling balsamic vinegar or glaze overtop the classic tomato basil bruschetta.
